2020 is just 9 days from its extinction but it is in no mood to calm down. If the Pandemic and severe cyclones were not enough, Volcanic eruption comes to the fore in Hawaii, United States of America.

Kilauea, World’s most active volcano, has started erupting since Sunday night as the lava went up covering the sky and turned it orange. The lava came down and boiled away a water lake and also caused a mild earthquake of 4.4 magnitudes. The water lake has been turning into a Lava lake.

Volcanic Eruption

Although no lives and properties are lost,  the locals are freaked out with the sudden eruption as it is in no mood of stopping. Residents are asked to stay indoors as the sky turned orange with smearing ashes. The particles cause heavy irritation to the eye and nose.

The last time, Kilauea erupted in 2018 which caused massive mayhem with hundereds of residences burnt in lava. It was estimated that the amount of lava spewed was enough to fill 320,00 olympic sized swimming pools.

The cars are lining up at the outside of the Hawaii Volcano Park to have a glimpse of the eruption. The visitors are said to breaking the Covid norms as some of them were not seen wearing masks. The enormous amount of hazardous Sulfur Dioxide and other particles could do severe damages to the people with respiratory disease, infants or pregnant woman.

The experts have no idea about how long it will last.
